Annual Inspection includes a tag and a dated seal, and checking for leaks, shot down, six year maintenance, 12 year hydro, the manufacturer date, s/n and making sure that fire extinguisher is hanging in the right place.
SIX YEARS
Fire extinguishers are to come out for a six-year service from the manufacturer date.
12-YEAR HYDROS
Fire extinguishers are to come out for a 12-year hydro test service from the manufacturer date.
RECHARGE
When a fire extinguisher has been discharged or the powder has harden.
REPAIRED
Is when a fire extinguisher has been damaged and needs parts, such as, hose, pressure gauge, valve stem, O-ring, handle ext.
EMERGENCY & EXIT LIGHTS
They should be checked to make sure that they are working properly. Check for bad battery, cracks, corrosion, bulbs, etc.
MONTHLY INSPECTIONS
Monthly Inspections include a detailed time-stamped report and is NFPA and OSHA approved.
